Who founded ANTSA?

Sally-Anne McCormack is a Clinical Psychologist and the founder and director of ANTSA Pty Ltd. With over two decades of experience supporting clients across the lifespan, she strongly believes that “therapy takes place between sessions.” Her vision is grounded in empowering practitioners to inspire, motivate, and monitor their clients regularly, without the added burden that often leads to clinician stress and burnout.

In 2021, following hip surgery and time away from her practice, Sally-Anne reflected on how she could continue to support her clients outside scheduled appointments. This reflection developed into two years of research and development, resulting in ANTSA, a digital mental health platform designed to help practitioners remain connected with clients, assign therapeutic tasks, track mood, and streamline workload in a clinically sound and effective way.

Thanks to Sally-Anne’s clinical insight and commitment to innovation, ANTSA delivers a suite of tools designed to support practitioners and enhance client engagement. These include mood tracking, journalling, psychoeducation resources, and automated homework tasks. At the centre is jAImee, the world’s first clinician-overseen AI therapy chatbot, which helps clients stay connected and supported between sessions under practitioner oversight. ANTSA also features an AI scribe that transcribes and summarises therapy sessions to reduce administrative workload, and kAI, an AI assistant that provides practitioners with real-time support in managing client care.

Sally-Anne continues to lead ANTSA with a client-centred, evidence-based approach that combines clinical insight with advanced technology. Her work enhances therapeutic outcomes, supports ongoing engagement, and reduces practitioner burnout, positioning ANTSA at the forefront of digital mental health innovation.
